Who is eligible to join the Cadet Pilot Program?
You'll need to have passed 10+2 with Physics and Mathematics, be at least 17 years old, and meet DGCA Class 1 / Class 2 medical requirements. No prior flying experience is needed — we take you from the very first day of ground school.
How long does it take to become a commercial pilot?
Typically it takes about 18 to 24 months of structured training, comprising both ground school classes and 200 hours of actual flight training, to obtain your Commercial Pilot License (CPL).
What does the training cost, and are loans available?
The training cost varies by program. Vision Flying Training Institute has partnerships with leading banks to assist our cadets with educational flight training loans.
Will I get a job with an airline after graduating?
VFTI provides comprehensive placement and career support. We prepare you with interview training, simulator checks, and airline prep classes to qualify you for leading airlines like IndiGo, Air India, and others.
Where will I live and train during the program?
Cadets train at our state-of-the-art airbase facilities in Amreli, Gujarat, which offers boarding and lodging within the campus so you can focus completely on your training.
What aircraft and avionics will I train on?
You will train on our modern fleet of Tecnam P2008 JC, Cessna 172 Skyhawk, Tecnam P-Mentor aircraft, and the Tecnam Multi-Engine Simulator, equipped with modern glass cockpit Garmin G1000 and G3X Touch systems.
